A prática de “colar” – visão de estudantes de engenharia

Abstract

Burlar uma prova, ou “colar”, é uma prática recorrente e bastante comum entre alunos, quando são avaliados. Professores muitas vezes consentem com esta prática, por não saber os motivos que levam a ela, sendo difícil de controlá-la. Na engenharia, como ciência exata, os motivos pelos quais os alunos “colam”, parecem ser mais objetivos, de fácil entendimento, mas não justificáveis. Diante do exposto, vê-se a necessidade de se realizar um estudo sobre “colar”, pela visão dos estudantes de engenharia. Desta forma, objetivou-se, principalmente, aferir a percepção que os estudantes de engenharia têm sobre a “cola”, destacando as justificativas dadas por eles para este ato. Pretendese que isso possa estimular uma reflexão entre alunos e professores, colocando esta prática em discussão. Acredita-se que, através do diálogo, é possível coibir a “cola”.

Outwit an evaluation, or "copying", is a recurring practice and quite common among students when evaluated. Teachers often consent to this practice because they do not know the motives that lead to it, and it is difficult to control it. In engineering, as an exact science, the reasons why students tease exams seem to be more objective, easily understood, but not justifiable. In view of the above, it is necessary to carry out a study on the "copying", by the vision of engineering students. In this way, this work has as main objective to gauge the perception that the engineering students have on the "copying", highlighting the justifications given by them for this act. It is intended that this may stimulate a reflection between students and teachers, placing this practice under discussion. It is believed that through dialogue, it is possible to curb the "glue".
