Aftas bucales: causas y consideraciones terapéuticas

Abstract

Objetivo: Analizar las Aftas Bucales, sus causas y consideraciones terapéuticas. Método: Descriptivo documental. Resultados y conclusiones: se evidencia la multifactorialidad en la etiología de las aftas bucales, destacando factores inmunológicos, genéticos, alimentarios y ambientales como las principales causas subyacentes. Las consideraciones terapéuticas reflejan un enfoque diversificado, con tratamientos que van desde el uso de corticosteroides tópicos y agentes inmunomoduladores hasta la aplicación de tecnologías emergentes como la terapia con láser y el plasma no térmico

Objective: To analyze oral canker sores, their causes and therapeutic considerations. Method: Descriptive documentation. Results and conclusions: the multifactorial nature of the etiology of oral canker sores is evident, highlighting immunological, genetic, dietary and environmental factors as the main underlying causes. The therapeutic considerations reflect a diversified approach, with treatments ranging from the use of topical corticosteroids and immunomodulatory agents to the application of emerging technologies such as laser therapy and non-thermal plasma.
