Abstract

Objetivo: analizar las tendencias actuales en el manejo del síndrome de poliposis adenomatosa familiar. Método: Descriptiva documental. Conclusión: Se pudo conocer sobre el tratamiento ideal quirúrgico para que nuestro paciente puede presentar una mejora en su calidad de vida. También se dedujo que una vez detectada la enfermedad se necesitara cirugía para prevenir el cáncer de colon Posiblemente también se necesite cirugía si se identifica algún pólipo canceroso

Objective: to analyze current trends in the management of familial adenomatous polyposis syndrome. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: It was possible to learn about the ideal surgical treatment so that our patient can present an improvement in his quality of life. It was also deduced that once the disease is detected, surgery will be needed to prevent colon cancer. Surgery may also be needed if a cancerous polyp is identified.
