Abstract

En los últimos dos años, el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia ha dictado una serie de decisiones que han aportado criterios muy interesantes en materia arbitral, puesto que varios de ellos han ratificado la tendencia a favorecer el arbitraje, pero por el otro lado, hay sentencias que poseen argumentos contradictorios. En este resumen, aportaremos un breve análisis sobre dichos fallos y su incidencia en el arbitraje comercial. Palabras claves: Arbitraje comercial. In the last two years, the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela has issued a series of decisions that have provided very interesting guidelines in arbitration matters, since several of them have ratified the tendency to promote and support arbitration, but on the other hand, there are rulings that have contradictory arguments. In this summary, we will provide a brief examination of these rulings and their impact on commercial arbitration.
