Sostenibilidad de emprendimientos en zonas vulnerables del Ecuador

Abstract

El presente trabajo determina la relación entre la optimización de recursos y la sostenibilidad en los emprendimientos en el sector marginal y rural del Cantón La Troncal. La metodología fue de naturaleza descriptiva y correlacional con análisis cualicuantitativo. Los resultados de la investigación revelaron que existe una correlación positiva entre la optimización de recursos y la sostenibilidad en los emprendimientos en el sector marginal y rural del Cantón La Troncal. Las estrategias de optimización más utilizadas son aquellas asociadas a la materia prima y la tecnología; a su vez, los emprendimientos exhiben un alto grado de madurez en el tiempo de funcionamiento. Se concluye sobre la importancia de enfocarse en estrategias que maximicen el uso eficiente de los recursos disponibles en los emprendimientos estudiados y la necesidad de incorporar otras variables explicativas que contribuyan a la visión integral de la sostenibilidad empresarial.

This work determines the relationship between resource optimization and sustainability in ventures in the marginal and rural sector of the La Troncal Canton. The methodology was descriptive and correlational in nature with qualitative-quantitative analysis. The results of the research revealed that there is a positive correlation between resource optimization and sustainability in ventures in the marginal and rural sector of the La Troncal Canton. The most used optimization strategies are those associated with raw materials and technology; in turn, the ventures exhibit a high degree of maturity in operating time. It is concluded that the importance of focusing on strategies that maximize the efficient use of available resources in the ventures studied and the need to incorporate other explanatory variables that contribute to the comprehensive vision of business sustainability.
