OpenSWAD como herramienta tecnológica para optimizar el flujo comunicacional en la gerencia del Liceo Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como intención proponer el Espacio Abierto de Trabajo Compartido a Distancia (OpenSWAD) como herramienta tecnológica para la optimización del flujo comunicacional en la gerencia del Liceo Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías ubicado en el Municipio San Felipe del estado Yaracuy. La investigación está fundamentada en las teorías sobre la nueva estructura gerencial de Nonaka y Takeuchi (1995), y el proceso de comunicación de Berlo (1960). El contexto fue el Liceo Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías. El proyecto se justifica por cuanto posee valor teórico, utilidad práctica, relevancia social y por su conveniencia con base en los beneficios que éste genera al optimizar los flujos comunicacionales en la gerencia de la institución. Para el desarrollo del estudio se adecuó la investigación bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, basado en el paradigma positivista y diseño de campo no experimental, en la modalidad de proyecto factible. Asimismo, la población y muestra estuvo conformada por diecinueve (19) individuos que forman parte del personal directivo, administrativo y docente del Liceo Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías. En la recolección de la información, se aplicó un instrumento de escala tipo Likert y dicotómico el cual fue validado por juicio de expertos. La confiabilidad del instrumento se obtuvo mediante la aplicación del coeficiente Alfa-Cronbach para la escala tipo Likert y Kuder And Richardson (KR20) para la escala dicotómica. El análisis de los datos se realizó a través de la estadística descriptiva utilizando la distribución de frecuencias de las respuestas y porcentajes. Se comprobó mediante la aplicación del instrumento correspondiente, que el personal que labora en la institución posee debilidad en cuanto al uso de las TIC para funciones comunicacionales entre ellos, incluyendo el envío de información desde la gerencia de la institución o la Zona Educativa, de ahí radica la relevancia de la propuesta como una alternativa de solución.

The purpose of this study was to propose the Open Space for Shared Work at Distance (OpenSWAD) as a technological tool for the optimization of the communication flow in the management of the Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías High School located in the San Felipe Municipality of the state of Yaracuy. The research is based on the theories of the new management structure of Nonaka and Takeuchi (1995) and the communication process of Berlo (1960). The context was the Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías High School. The project is justified because it has theoretical value, practical utility, social relevance, and because of its convenience based on the benefits it generates by optimizing the communicational flows in the institution’s management. For the development of the study, the research was adapted under a quantitative approach, based on a positivist paradigm and non-experimental field design, in the modality of a feasible project. Likewise, the population and sample were made up of nineteen (19) individuals who are part of the management, administrative, and teaching staff of the Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías High School. A Likert and dichotomous scale instrument was used to collect the information, which was validated by experts. The reliability of the instrument was obtained by applying the Alpha-Cronbach coefficient for the Likert type scale and Kuder and Richardson (KR20) for the dichotomic scale. Data analysis was performed through descriptive statistics using the frequency distribution of responses and percentages. The application of the corresponding instrument proved that the staff working in the institution has weaknesses in the use of ICT for communication functions among them, including sending information from the management of the institution or the Educational Zone, hence the relevance of the proposal as an alternative solution.
