Método DUA: un catalizador del éxito cognitivo en los estudiantes
Resumen
El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el impacto de un programa basado en el diseño universal para el
aprendizaje (DUA) para fortalecer el desarrollo cognitivo en estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato
en un colegio de Guayaquil. Mediante diseño preexperimental y enfoque cuantitativo, se obtuvo un
tamaño del efecto de 1,014 y un coeficiente de determinación R² de 0,761. Los resultados resaltan la
efectividad del DUA como una estrategia pedagógica influyente en el fortalecimiento del desarrollo
cognitivo de los estudiantes The objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of a program based on Universal Design for
Learning (UDL) to strengthen cognitive development in first-year high school students in Guayaquil.
Using a pre-experimental design and a quantitative approach, an effect size of 1,014 and a coefficient
of determination R² of 0,761 were obtained. The results highlight the effectiveness of UDL as a
pedagogical strategy that influences the strengthening of students' cognitive development.
