Sostenemos que ese empoderamiento es lo que lleva a las y los sujetos urbanos a adoptar estrategias de resistencia y cambio frente a las dinámicas de exclusión, pauperización, degradación ambiental y desigualdad que genera la ciudad globalizada. Por esta razón, en primer lugar, apostamos por visibilizar la implicación de los movimientos sociales y analizar cómo sus praxis están contribuyendo a redefinir el concepto de ciudadanía tradicional, y en segundo lugar, aportamos ejemplos de prácticas que construyen ciudades más eficientes ecológicamente, más incluyentes para todas y todos, y con mejores condiciones de habitabilidad, a partir del estudio concreto de experiencias locales en ciudad de La Habana.; Civil participation is a key element to construct cities adapted to the needs and well-being criteria of its own inhabitants and their life quality as well. We uphold / argue that this powerness is what leads urban subjects to adopt strategies of resistance and change from the dynamics of exclusion, impoverishment, environmental degradation and the inequality that generates the globalized city. En este sentido, para avanzar en Venezuela en dicha materia, es menester la elaboración y ejecución de políticas inclusivas de género también en el seno de las fuerzas armadas, ya que estas son indispensables en función de profundizar el empoderamiento político de las mujeres por medio de su participación en el ámbito militar.; The feminism as social and political movement has striven its efforts in universalizing human and citizens rights for all women, in achieving equal rights in equal footing with men. The gender equality and equity have always been its strategic objective. In that regard, to move forward in Venezuela is required to elaborate and to implement inclusive gender policies in the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB).
