Para ello se fundamentó en la necesidad de atender a los damnificados de la temporada de lluvias del 2010 y en dar respuesta al déficit acumulado de viviendas que alcanzaba la cifra de 2 millones de unidades. La declaración de emergencia devino en un conjunto de normas que han justificado la intervención pública sobre el mercado de suelo y de la vivienda. La metodología empleada se enmarca en una revisión documental de carácter analítico de las normas e instrumentos jurídicos relacionados con la política de vivienda en Venezuela a partir de 2011. Con ello se muestran los principios que sustentan ese marco normativo vigente en el país.; In 2011 the Venezuelan government declared a national housing emergency. La importancia de estas inversiones en el producto ha sido analizada con amplitud en la literatura económica. La conclusión fundamental es que este tipo de inversiones tiene un impacto positivo sobre el producto per cápita a largo plazo. Este efecto viene dado por aumentos en la inversión, pública y privada, tanto de corto como de largo plazo. En este contexto, el objetivo de esta investigación es establecer la relación entre la inversión en infraestructura y el crecimiento económico en Venezuela para el lapso de 1950 a 2008. The significance of these investments in the product has been widely analyzed in the theoretical and empirical literature. The key conclusion is that this type of investment has a positive impact on the GDP per capita in the long run. Este modelo permite explicar de manera teoría cómo los shocks internos y externos causan los ciclos económicos, la inflación y cambian las otras variables que miden la actividad económica. Aún cuando los resultados son consistentes con la teoría económica, contrario a sus postulados tradicionales, una devaluación del bolívar produce una contracción del producto real y aumenta el nivel de precios, mientras que el aumento de los precios del petróleo provoca un aumento del producto real, pero su efecto sobre el nivel de precios es ambiguo.; This paper presents an aggregate demand and supply model for the Venezuelan economy assuming two productive sectors (oil and non-oil), a fixed exchange rate regime, and an absolute restriction to capital mobility. The model helps explain the impacts that fiscal, monetary, and productivity domestic and foreign shocks have on real output, inflation and overall economic activity in Venezuela. Although the results are consistent with economic theory, it is necessary to emphasize that, contrary to its standard postulates, a Bolivar devaluation contracts real output and raises the Price level and that an oil price increase causes an increase in real output but triggers an ambiguous effect on the price level. 2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
