La cuenca del río Mucujún es una fuente que abastece de agua a más de 30.000 suscriptores del acueducto metropolitano de Mérida, Venezuela. En el presente artículo se muestra la estimación del área geográfica a encuestar mediante la técnica de valoración ambiental, de la Disposición A Aceptar (DAA) a los habitantes (agricultores) para el cambio del uso actual de la tierra y su conservación y una estimación del valor económico por aceptar cambiar su agricultura. Para esta estimación se utilizó el apoyo de un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG), que permite monitorear activos ambientales a conservar en Mérida - Venezuela, los cuales posibilitan el uso de otros métodos de muestreo, para inferir la proporción de la DAA como conveniente en el muestreo a seguir y determinar una cantidad de dinero a cancelar y mejorar ecológicamente las zonas a conservar.; The Mucujún River basin and its ravages are sources that supply water to more than 30,000 subscribers of the metropolitan aqueduct of Merida, Venezuela. Mediante un estudio exploratorio a una muestra aleatoria simple de 70 alumnos se les aplicó un cuestionario de cinco preguntas de respuesta múltiple. Los datos se recopilaron entre alumnos adscritos a la licenciatura en Administración y algunas ingenierías. A fin de establecer en dónde se habían originado sus valores como personas y si en este proceso la Universidad ha tenido alguna participación. O simplemente los alumnos reformulan sus valores de manera soberana a la luz del “curriculum oculto” de la UAM-A. Las empresas juegan un papel determinante en el desarrollo. No obstante, actualmente se les atribuye parte del deterioro ambiental y la desigualdad social del mundo. Para mejorar esta imagen, han surgido modelos empresariales, como las empresas B, las cuales además de generar un rendimiento económico, aportan soluciones ambientales y sociales a la sociedad. El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la gestión estratégica adoptada por estas empresas. Metodológicamente, se realizó el análisis documental de artículos, sobre algunos casos exitosos de empresas que funcionan en Latinoamérica y con gran impacto en la sociedad. Las conclusiones destacan, que las empresas B tienen como base de su gestión estratégica la identificación de necesidades de los stakeholders y la producción de conocimiento en esta área; esto les permite generar innovaciones que contribuyen con la creación de productos y servicios que además de generar un rendimiento económico, mejoran la calidad de vida de sus grupos de interés.; Companies play a decisive role in development. However, actually, they are blamed for part of the world's environmental degradation and social inequality. To improve this image, business models have emerged, such as B companies, which in addition to generating economic returns provide environmental and social solutions to society. The aim of the study was to analyse the strategic management adopted by these companies. Methodologically, a documentary analysis was carried out. Also, some successful cases of companies that operate in Latin America and have a great impact on society were analysed. The conclusions highlight that the B companies have as a base of their strategic management, the identification of the needs of the stakeholders and the production of knowledge; those allows them to generate innovations that contribute with the creation of products and services that besides generating an economic yield, they improve the quality of life of their groups of interest. Mitos y realidades contemporáneas Fernández Z., Hernán Tomando como punto de partida el hecho de que la tecnología irá desplazando la Contabilidad como profesión, se revisaron diversas ponencias, artículos académicos y libros que sustentan la tesis que el contador no será más útil a un futuro cercano. Si bien es cierto, el contador actual no logrará superar la tecnología, esa misma le dará un vuelco a la profesión, logrando que se reestructure y se adapte a la nueva situación mundial. Si no se adapta está condenada a morir. El contador tiene todas las armas y capacidades para realizar aportes en su ámbito, siempre y cuando tenga una visión más amplia de su entorno y de cómo la empresa debe tener conocimiento de lo social. La profesión del contador tiene un futuro muy halagüeño, siempre y cuando logre la adaptación que el mundo requiere de él.; Taking as a starting point the fact that technology will displace Accounting, various academic publications were reviewed, in which the authors support the thesis that the Accountant will no longer be useful in the future. We have been able to observe that, although it is true, the current Accountant will not be able to overcome the technology, this same technology will give Accounting a turnaround forcing it to restructure itself and adapt to the new world situation. If it does not adapt, it is condemned to die. The Accountant has all the weapons and capability to make changes in its discipline, as long as he has a broader vision of his environment and how the company should become aware of the social aspects.
