Discernimiento de los docentes por género en el uso de las TIC en el aula a partir de las competencias digitales

Abstract

En la enseñanza, un elemento clave es el papel del docente para contribuir a incrementar la comprensión tecnológica de sus estudiantes en su desempeño académico. El presente estudio muestra las competencias digitales y el uso de las TIC, haciendo énfasis en la diferencia de aptitudes entre hombres y mujeres docentes. Se encontró en las pruebas t de Student y la prueba de Levene por género, que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas respecto a las competencias digitales y al uso de TIC.

In teaching, a key element is the role of the teacher to help increase the technological understanding of their students in their academic performance. The present study shows the digital competences and the use of ICT, emphasizing the difference of aptitudes between male and female teachers. It was found in Student's t-tests and Levene's test by gender, that there are statistically significant differences with respect to digital competences and the use of ICT.
