O uso do telefone celular em sala de aula: percepção dos acadêmicos de Biologia, Campus Ministro Reis Velloso da UFPI (Brasil)

Abstract

Esta pesquisa investigou a percepção de alunos do curso de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal do Piauí, Campus Ministro Reis Veloso (UFPI-CMRV) quanto ao uso do telefone celular em sala de aula. Foi constatado que a maioria dos alunos utilizam o telefone celular em sala de aula e afirmam que o uso do aparelho comumente causa distração e interfere no processo de aprendizagem mas destacam a importância do telefone celular como ferramenta educativa.

This research investigated the perception of students of the Biological Sciences course of the Federal University of Piauí, Campus Ministro Reis Veloso (UFPI-CMRV) regarding the use of the cell phone in the classroom. It was found that most of the students use the cell phone in the classroom and affirm that the use of the device commonly distracts and interferes in the learning process but highlights the importance of the cell phone as an educational tool.
