LA INCLUSIÓN Y CONCIENCIACIÓN EDUCATIVA FRENTE A LAS NECESIDADES PEDAGÓGICAS DE LOS ESTUDIANTES CON DISCAPACIDAD EN LA UNIVERSIDAD BOLIVARIANA DE VENEZUELA

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta resultados de una investigación que busca proponer estrategias de inclusión y concienciación educativa para fortalecer la formación de los docentes de la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela (UBV), específicamente los del programa de formación de grado Gestión en Salud Pública, en relación con las necesidades pedagógicas de los estudiantes con discapacidad, de conformidad con la política de igualdad y equiparación de oportunidades emanada por el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Educación Universitaria, la Ciencia y la Tecnología (MPPEUCT). La investigación se llevó a cabo en los espacios de la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela (UBV), sede Caracas. Con estas premisas, la investigación se enmarca metodológicamente en la modalidad de un estudio de campo, de carácter descriptivo y exploratorio. A fin de recolectar la información, se aplicó una encuesta a docentes de la comunidad ubevista. Los resultados encontrados indican que, desde el Estado, se ha avanzado un poco en una política de igualdad y equiparación de oportunidades. Se espera que las estrategias diseñadas desplieguen el proceso para lograr la inclusión educativa de manera consciente y organizada en la comunidad Ubevista.

This article presents the results of a research that seeks to propose inclusion and educational awareness strategies to strengthen the training of teachers at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), specifically those of the Public Health Management degree training program, in relation to the pedagogical needs of students with disabilities, in accordance with the policy of equality and equalization of opportunities issued by the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education, Science and Technology (MPPEUCT). The research was carried out in the spaces of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), Caracas headquarters. With these premises, the research is methodologically framed in the modality of a field study, of a descriptive and exploratory nature. In order to collect the information, a survey was applied to teachers of the ubevista community. The initial characterization corroborated the relevance of the investigation, and the results found indicate that the State has made some progress in a policy of equality and equal opportunities. The designed strategies are expected to deploy the process to achieve educational inclusion in a conscious and organized manner in the Ubevista community.
