The present research aims to design a WebQuest as a strategy for the evaluation of learning in the Chemical Subject of the general secondary education level of the Venezuelan school system, Vicente Dávila National Lyceum, located in Táchira state, Venezuela. The study was carried out using the qualitative approach, under the methodology of Action Research. It was structured in four phases: Diagnosis, Planning and Development, Evaluation and Systematization. Three teachers in the area of Chemistry were used as key informants, and as informants supporting 27 students of the third year Section B. For the validity of the instruments due to their qualitative nature, the researcher gives rigor to it, Guba and Lincoln (1989), in terms of reliability, the application of the instrument in different contexts is allowed, Pérez (2000). For the instrument in question, if it is valid, recurify the judgement of expert, and for the validity if using the alpha de Cronbach resulting in 0.81. In the data collection, a questionnaire for students was used for the diagnostic phase, and a semi-structured interview for teachers was used, and in the systematization and evaluation phase an in-depth interview. Among the conclusions were that the teachers of Chemistry do not use the ICT in the evaluation processes, and the WebQuest was an innovative alternative that strengthened the evaluation of the learning of this subject. The use of technological tools in evaluation is recommended as an alternative of change
