Los Sistemas de Gestión de Aprendizaje (LMS) en la educación virtual

Abstract

El 11 de marzo de 2020 la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) informó que el nuevo coronavirus COVID-19 se había convertido en una pandemia global y ante la llegada a nuestro país la educación en todos los niveles ha cambiado drásticamente. Muchas instituciones educativas no estaban preparadas para este cambio radical de lo tradicional hacia la educación virtual y por ello, mediante la revisión y análisis de la información utilizando el método de análisis-síntesis, se ha logrado rescatar los aportes principales de las investigaciones y se llega a la conclusión que las instituciones educativas están utilizando los sistemas de gestión de aprendizaje o LMS que son plataformas tecnológicas que tienen la capacidad de gestionar y hacer seguimiento a sus estudiantes, utilizando recursos digitales que permiten la interacción y colaboración entre profesores y estudiantes de forma asíncrona y síncrona, para que de esa manera puedan dar continuidad al servicio educativo

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the new coronavirus COVID-19 had become a global pandemic and, given the arrival in our country, education at all levels has drastically changed. Many educational institutions were not prepared for this radical change from the traditional towards virtual education and therefore, by reviewing and analyzing the information using the analysis-synthesis method, it has been possible to rescue the main contributions of the research and it has been reached to the conclusion that educational institutions are using learning management systems or LMS, which are technological platforms that have the ability to manage and monitor their students, using digital resources that allow interaction and collaboration between teachers and students, in a way asynchronous as synchronous, so that in this way they can give continuity to the educational service
