El bingo como estrategia lúdica de evaluación alternativa para el incremento del vocabulario de inglés

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo general, promover el uso del bingo como estrategia lúdica de evaluación alternativa para el incremento del vocabulario de inglés en los estudiantes de 4to grado de la Unidad Educativa “Dr. Arístides Garbiras”, ubicada en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, municipio San Cristóbal, del estado Táchira. El estudio se desarrolló dentro del enfoque cualitativo, de carácter descriptivo y de campo; bajo una investigación acción participante según el modelo de Yuni y Urbano (2011) que comprende cinco fases: Diagnóstico, Planificación, Ejecución, Evaluación y Sistematización. Los sujetos informantes lo constituyeron dos (02) docentes especialistas de Inglés y tres (03) estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó la técnica de la observación y como instrumentos dos entrevistas con preguntas abiertas dirigidas a los sujetos informantes y una guía de observación del investigador con catorce (14) ítems para la recolección de evidencias, el cual fue sometido a la validez y fiabilidad. La interpretación de la información, se realizó a través de la triangulación, con los resultados que determinaron la credibilidad y fiabilidad del estudio. En el análisis de resultados, se determinó que el docente especialista de Inglés conoce el juego del Bingo como estrategia lúdica sin aplicarla en su praxis pedagógica y sin considerar el recurso didáctico para la evaluación de forma alternativa sobre el incremento de vocabulario en las habilidades lingüísticas de la lengua extranjera en estudio. Al respecto, se planificó y ejecutó un plan de acción con actividades teórico-prácticas, a fin de implementar el uso del bingo como estrategia lúdica y de evaluación alternativa para el incremento del vocabulario de inglés en los estudiantes de 4to grado de la Unidad Educativa “Dr. Arístides Garbiras”, ubicada en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, municipio San Cristóbal, del estado Táchira.

The objective of the research was to promote the use of bingo as a play and alternative assessment strategy for the increase of English vocabulary in the 4th grade students of the "Dr. Arístides Garbiras ", located in the city of San Cristóbal, San Cristobal municipality, Táchira state. The study was developed within the qualitative, descriptive and field approach; Under a participatory action research according to the model of Yuni and Urbano (2011) that comprises five phases: Diagnosis, Plannig, Execution, Evaluation and Systematization. The informants were made up of two (02) specialist teachers of English and three (03) students. To whom were applied the technique of observation and as instruments two interviews of open questions addressed to the reporting subjects and a guide of observation of the investigator with fourteen (14) items for the collection of evidence, which was submitted to validity and Reliability. The interpretation of the information was done through triangulation, with the results that determined the credibility and reliability of the study. In the analysis of results, it was determined that the specialist English teacher knows the game of Bingo as a playful strategy without applying it in its pedagogical praxis and without considering the didactic resource for the alternative evaluation on the increase of vocabulary in the language skills of The foreign language under study. In this regard, a plan of action with theoretical and practical activities was planned and implemented in order to implement the use of bingo as a play and alternative strategy for the increase of English vocabulary in the 4th grade students of the Educational Unit " Dr. Arístides Garbiras ", located in the city of San Cristóbal, San Cristobal municipality, Táchira state.
