Capital intelectual y reporte financiero en Chile y Estados Unidos: estudio empírico de las empresas cotizadas en la Bolsa de Santiago de Chile y New York

Abstract

Para las empresas cotizadas en la Bolsa de Santiago de Chile dentro del indicador IPSA y las de la Bolsa de New York Stock Exchange-NYSE, se determina la relación entre el valor oculto y el valor de los activos intangibles a través de la divulgación de información relacionada con los elementos de CI, la cual fue presentada en las cuentas anuales del período 2013- 2016. Los resultados muestran la no existencia de correlaciones significativas en los reporte de los Estados Unidos, mientras que en Chile sí existen correlaciones.

For companies listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange of Chile under the IPSA indicator and those of the New York Stock Exchange-NYSE, the relationship between the hidden value and the value of intangible assets is determined through the disclosure of related information. with the elements of CI, presented in the annual accounts for the period 2013-2016. The results show the absence of significant correlations in the United States, while in Chile correlations do exist.
