Las cardiopatías congénitas son malformaciones frecuentes al nacimiento que involucran alteraciones morfológicas del corazón. Objetivo: Categorizar los pacientes con Cardiopatías Congénitas en cuanto a frecuencia, epidemiologia, clínica y diagnóstico por ecocardiograma del Servicio de Neonatología del Hospital Universitario “Dr. Pedro Emilio Carrillo” durante 2015-2020. Métodos: diseño descriptivo y retrospectivo, aplicado en neonatos, los datos se obtendrán de los registros de Historias Clínicas en la Oficina de Estadísticas Médicas y de los resultados ecocardiográficos. Resultados: predomino el sexo masculino 18 pacientes 52.9 % y con procedencia del área urbana 73,5 %. El signo clínico más frecuente fue el soplo cardiaco 82,4 %, seguido de la taquicardia 61,8 % y cianosis 41,2 %. La cardiopatía más frecuente fue la comunicación interventricular 61,8 %. Conclusiones: se demostró que las cardiopatías acianógenas son las más frecuentes con 58,8 %, en comparación con las cianógenas con 42,8 %. Objective: To categorize patients with Congenital Heart Disease in terms of frequency, epidemiology, clinical and diagnosis by echocardiogram of the Neonatology service of the University Hospital “Dr. Pedro Emilio Carrillo” during 2015-2020. Methods: a descriptive and retrospective design, applied in neonates, the data will be obtained from the Medical Records records in the Office of Medical Statistics and from the echocardiographic. Results: male sex predominated, 18 patients reported 52.9 % and came from the urban area with 73.5 %. The most frequent clinical sign was heart murmur 82.4 %, followed by tachycardia 61.8 % and cyanosis 41.2 %. The most common heart disease was ventricular septal defect 61.8 %. Conclusions: it was demonstrated that acyanogenic heart diseases are the most frequent with 58.8 %, compared to cyanogenic with 42.8 %.
