Comportamiento de los hijos adolescentes varones ante el maltrato a la madre

Abstract

La cantidad de denuncias sobre la violencia hacia la mujer hacen posible conocer tan extenso problema; el propósito fue analizar la violencia hacia la madre por parte de su pareja y el comportamiento violento de hijos adolescentes varones espectadores del maltrato de su madre. El enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo hermenéutico asumido, permitió el estudio de campo de un grupo familiar de clase socioeconómica media, en la que los informantes fueron adolescentes. Las técnicas e instrumentos de investigación fueron las narrativas elaboradas por los informantes, dadas a raíz de conversaciones informales, entrevistas abiertas con preguntas generadoras. A lo largo de la investigación, se puede ver cómo, a pesar de la conquista de derechos, la introducción de posibilidades antes inexistente para las mujeres en los ámbitos laborales, académicos y sociales, la inclusión de leyes que castigan los actos que degradan a las mujeres, no son aún suficientes.

The number of reports of violence against women makes it possible to learn about this extensive problem; the purpose was to analyse violence against the mother by her partner and the violent behaviour of adolescent male children who are bystanders to their mother's abuse. The qualitative, descriptive-hermeneutic approach adopted allowed for a field study of a family group of middle socio-economic class, in which the informants were adolescents. The research techniques and instruments were the narratives elaborated by the informants, given as a result of informal conversations, open interviews with generative questions. Throughout the research, it can be seen how, despite the conquest of rights, the introduction of previously non-existent possibilities for women in the labour, academic and social spheres, the inclusion of laws that punish acts that degrade women, are still not enough.
