Análisis de la educación en tiempos de pandemia: Una perspectiva docente

Abstract

La llegada de la pandemia COVID-19, ocasionó el cierre de los centros educativos, por ende, se buscó dar continuidad en la educación, modificando totalmente el sistema educativo a la virtualidad, imprevisto que generó obstaculos a los docentes de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca UCACUE extensión La Troncal, se realizó una investigación con el fin de analizar como los docentes de la institución enfrentaron la pandemia, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental y de corte transversal con la aplicación de encuestas digitales, de las cuales se obtuvieron como resultados que entre los aspectos negativos está la desmotivación estudiantil, debido a que las clases son básicas y generan aburrimiento, esto debido a la falta de incorporación de herramientas digitales en la educación, siendo el analfabetismo digital conjuntamente con otros factores los causantes de los problemas de salud como estrés, preocupación o desgaste emocional.

The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused the closure of educational centers, therefore, it was sought to give continuity in education, totally modifying the educational system to virtuality, an unforeseen event that generated obstacles to the teachers of the Catholic University of Cuenca UCACUE extension La Troncal, an investigation was carried out in order to analyze how the institution's teachers faced the pandemic, through a quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional approach with the application of digital surveys, from which results were obtained that Among the negative aspects is student demotivation, because the classes are basic and generate boredom, this due to the lack of incorporation of digital tools in education, being digital illiteracy together with other factors causing health problems such as stress, worry, or emotional exhaustion.
