dc.descriptionInitial education implies the beginning of the child towards schooling, however, COVID-19 has generated the largest paralysis in the history of educational systems, which led governments to direct the objectives towards virtual education and hence The objective of this article is to analyze the challenges and proposals faced by teachers and authorities of the María Montessori Initial Education Center, for teaching-learning during the pandemic in Azogues. The study was carried out with a non-experimental design, mixed methodological approach. The cohort was cross-sectional, the population being analyzed by teachers and directors of the Center. A questionnaire was applied to the teachers and an interview to the manager, the results indicate that the teachers have not known how to face the challenges and proposals, so a proposal for reflection, motivation and training is presented.en-US
dc.descriptionLa educación inicial implica el inicio del niño hacia la escolaridad, no obstante, el COVID-19 ha generado la más grande paralización en la historia de los sistemas educativos lo que indujo a los gobiernos a dirigir los objetivos hacia la educación virtual y de allí que el objetivo de este artículo es el analizar los retos y propuestas que enfrentaron docentes y autoridades del Centro de Educación inicial María Montessori, para la enseñanza-aprendizaje durante la pandemia en Azogues. El estudio se llevó a cabo con un diseño no experimental, enfoque metodológico mixto. La cohorte fue transversal, siendo la población de análisis docentes y directivos del Centro. Se aplicó un cuestionario a los docentes y una entrevista al directivo, los resultados indican que los docentes no han sabido enfrentar los retos y propuestas por lo que se presenta una propuesta de reflexión, motivación y capacitación.es-ES
