dc.descriptionThe objective of the research was to determine the relationship between vocational guidance and its relationship with the choice of a professional career in high school students at an educational institution in Peru. A type of correlational descriptive research was implemented, relying on a non-experimental design. Spearman's Rho statistic indicates a low or weak positive correlation (Rho = 0.298). The significance is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) so the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Vocational guidance influences the motivational, aptitude and attitudinal aspects of students at the secondary level and is essential for them to develop their self-knowledge process, as well as to lucidly identify their interests, values and vocation, which allows them to be right in making career decisions.en-US
dc.descriptionLa investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar la relación entre orientación vocacional y su relación con la elección de una carrera profesional en estudiantes de bachillerato en una institución educativa del Perú. Se implementó un tipo de investigación descriptiva correlacional, apoyándose en un diseño no experimental. El estadígrafo Rho de Spearman, indica una correlación positiva baja o débil (Rho = 0,298). La significancia es menor que 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) por lo que se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se acepta la hipótesis alternativa. La orientación vocacional influye en los aspectos motivacionales, aptitudinales y actitudinales de los estudiantes en el nivel secundario y es fundamental para que estos puedan desarrollar su proceso de autoconocimiento, así como identificar de manera lúcida sus intereses, valores y vocación, que les permita acertar en la toma de decisiones de su carrera profesional.es-ES
