dc.descriptionThe general objective of the research was to analyze the contributions of emotional intelligence in education. It was located in the positivist paradigm, from the quantitative approach, with documentary-bibliographic support. The documentary sources provide the necessary information on everything that has been published on the subject. This will allow working with knowledge, theories and ideas, recently elaborated, since these will serve as the basis for the intellectual work proposed. These sources were based on theses, refereed works and scientific articles. It is concluded that it is necessary to observe and guide young students in the management of their emotions through academic practice, which invites to rethink the teaching practice, regarding the challenges of coordinating, directing, accompanying, guiding and helping students to know, express and manage their emotions positively.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo general de la investigación fue analizar los aportes de la inteligencia emocional en la educación. Se ubicó en el paradigma positivista, desde el enfoque cuantitativo, con un apoyo documental-bibliográfico. Las fuentes documentales proporcionan la información necesaria de todo lo que se ha publicado del tema. Esto permitirá trabajar con conocimientos, teorías e ideas, recién elaboradas, ya que estas servirán de base al trabajo intelectual planteado. Dichas fuentes se apoyaron en tesis, trabajos arbitrados, y artículos científicos. Se concluye, que es necesario observar y guiar a los jóvenes estudiantes en el manejo de sus emociones mediante la práctica académica, lo que invita a repensar la práctica docente, en cuanto a los retos de coordinar, dirigir, acompañar, orientar y ayudar a los estudiantes a conocer, expresar y manejar sus emociones positivamente.es-ES
