dc.descriptionABSTRACTThe purpose of this article is to expose the proposal of a system of educational quality measurement indicators for the virtual modality at the Catholic University of Cuenca, to achieve this, a bibliographic review investigation has been carried out on the models and concepts of criteria that have been applied and proposed by different authors and educational quality assurance agencies in Ecuador and the region. Among the input documents, the self-assessment models of the University and the generic model of evaluation of the 2017 career learning environment are reviewed, which is in force to date and is used by the current CACES (Council for Quality Assurance). of Higher Education). As a conclusion of the article, the categorized proposal of educational quality evaluation indicators aimed at the online higher education modality is presented. Likewise, the conclusions and recommendations give rise to the proposal and research to be complemented with the incorporation of standards and the integration of new and diverse indicators that need to be addressed based on the changing career certification guidelines and new educational elements that emerge. in this type of study.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene por objeto exponer la propuesta de un sistema de indicadores de medición de calidad educativa para la modalidad virtual en la Universidad Católica de Cuenca, para lograrlo se ha procedido a realizar una investigación de revisión bibliográfica sobre los modelos y conceptos de criterios que han aplicado y propuesto diferentes autores y organismos de aseguramiento de la calidad educativa en el Ecuador y la región.  Como conclusión del artículo se presenta la propuesta categorizada de indicadores de evaluación de la calidad educativa dirigida a la modalidad de estudios superiores en línea. Así mismo, las conclusiones y recomendaciones dan pie para que la propuesta e investigación sean complementadas con la incorporación de estándares y la integración de nuevos y diversos indicadores que se requieran atender en función de las cambiantes directrices de certificación de carreras y nuevos elementos educativos que emerjan en esta modalidad de estudios.es-ES
