dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to use Web 2.0 tools as didactic strategies to improve teaching and learning at the "Bellavista" Educational Unit in the canton of 24 de Mayo, Manabí, Ecuador. The study was quasi-experimental and the techniques applied were: documentary, through the use of similar relevant studies; and field study, through a survey applied to teachers and a test applied to a control group and to an experimental group of students. As results in the diagnostic test, the control group obtained 85% of errors and the experimental group 87%. After the traditional classes, the control group did not improve its performance (79% of errors); on the contrary, the experimental group that used Web 2.0 tools improved its performance in great proportion (96% of correct answers). It is concluded that Web 2.0 tools, when properly used, allow the achievement of significant learning.en-US
dc.descriptionEsta investigación tuvo como objetivo utilizar herramientas Web 2.0 como estrategias didácticas para mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en la Unidad Educativa “Bellavista” del cantón 24 de Mayo, Manabí, Ecuador. El estudio fue cuasi-experimental y las técnicas aplicadas fueron: documental, mediante la utilización de estudios similares relevantes y; de campo, a través de una encuesta aplicada a docentes y un test a un grupo de control y un grupo experimental de estudiantes. Como resultados en el test diagnóstico, el grupo de control obtuvo 85% de errores y el experimental 87%. Posterior a las clases tradicionales, el grupo control no mejoró el rendimiento (79% de errores); por el contrario, el grupo experimental que empleó herramientas web 2.0, mejoró su rendimiento en gran proporción (96% de aciertos). Se concluye que las herramientas Web 2.0 utilizadas adecuadamente permiten la obtención de aprendizajes significativos.es-ES
