dc.descriptionSince the students of the Sciences Faculty had a deficient statistical culture at Piura National University, it was proposed to evaluate the effects of Project Based Learning (PBL) on the statistical culture of university students. Methodologically, the research was developed under the quantitative paradigm with experimental design, being the technique the survey and the instrument the questionnaire. The population consisted of 66 students. As a result, it was possible to determine that there is a significant favorable difference between the levels of statistical competence before and after the application of the didactic strategy.  Therefore, it was concluded that the application of this strategy positively influenced the statistical culture of the university students.     en-US
dc.descriptionEn virtud que los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad Nacional de Piura tenían una cultura estadística deficiente, se propuso evaluar los efectos del Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP) en la cultura estadística de estudiantes universitarios. Metodológicamente, la investigación se desarrolló bajo el paradigma cuantitativo con diseño experimental, siendo la técnica la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario. La población estuvo constituida por 66 estudiantes. Como resultado, se pudo determinar que existe una diferencia significativa favorable entre los niveles de competencia estadística antes y después de la aplicación de la estrategia didáctica.  Por tanto, se concluyó que la aplicación de esta estrategia influyó positivamente en la cultura estadística de los estudiantes universitarios.           es-ES
