Aprender geografía a través de las ideas previas de los alumnos del 7¦ y 8¦ semestre de educación para jóvenes y adultos

Abstract

Este trabajo persigue la Promoción y Evolución de las Ideas Previas del saber geográfico a partir del aprendizaje significativo de los Alumnos del Séptimo y Octavo Semestre de Educación para Jóvenes y Adultos de la Unidad Educativa Zorca referente a las Unidades Temáticas: Clima y Población de Geografía General. Para efectuar el estudio se utilizó una investigación de tipo experimental con un Pre-Test y Post-Test desarrollado antes y después de las siguientes estrategias didácticas: Investigación Bibliográfica, Investigación de Campo y Preguntas Intercaladas. En la indagación participaron quince estudiantes del séptimo semestre y quince del octavo semestre, seleccionados intencionalmente. Para analizar los resultados se aplicó el estudio de la frecuencia simple y correlación de Pearson, cuyos aportes resaltan las siguientes conclusiones: los alumnos evolucionaron en las ideas previas de las Unidades Temáticas en referencia al participar en las diferentes estrategias propuestas, es decir, mejoraron en su nivel de comprensión y contextualización de los temas vinculados al tema de Clima y Población.

This work pursues the Promotion and Evolution of the Previous Ideas of the geographical knowledge starting form the significant learning of the Students of the Seventh an Eight Semester of Education for Young and Adults of the Educational Unit Zorca with respect to the Thematic Units: Climate an Population of General Geography. To make the study an investigation of experimental type it was used with a Pre-Test and Pos-Test developed before and after the following didactic strategies: Bibliographical Investigation, Investigation of Field an Inserted Questions. In the inquiry they participated fifteen students of the seventh semester and fifteen of the eight semester, selected intentionally. To analyze the results it was applied the study of the simple frequency and correlation of Pearson whose contributions stand out the following conclusions: the students evolved in the previous ideas of the Thematic Units in reference when participating in the different proposed strategies, that is to say, the improved in their level of understanding and contextualizacion of the topics linked the topic of Climate an Population.
