Implicaciones sociopolíticas de la dinámica migratoria en Venezuela

Abstract

La migración venezolana se ha presentado antes, por causas diferentes, con menor frecuencia y volumen. No obstante, actualmente en Venezuela existe una profunda crisis económica, social y política, que ha causado el éxodo. Con el propósito de comprender los motivos que impulsaron a los venezolanos a emigrar, sus vivencias en el exterior y expectativas sobre el retorno, se utilizó el enfoque metodológico cualitativo, la postura paradigmática socio-crítica y el método hermenéutico. La información fue obtenida a través de análisis bibliográficos y de entrevistas en profundidad. Los hallazgos apuntan a la existencia del deterioro de las condiciones de vida en Venezuela que induce a sus ciudadanos a irse de forma forzada de su país y el imperativo viraje necesario en la gestión gubernamental en el que se planteen y ejecuten políticas que estén orientadas a atraer a los migrantes de vuelta a su nación y a la recuperación del talento humano.

Venezuelan migration has occurred before, for different reasons, with less frequency and volume. However, there is currently a deep economic, social and political crisis in Venezuela, which has caused the exodus. In order to understand the reasons that drove Venezuelans to emigrate, their experiences abroad and their expectations about their return, the qualitative methodological approach, the socio-critical paradigmatic stance and the hermeneutic method were used. The information was obtained through bibliographical analysis and in-depth interviews. The findings point to the existence of deteriorating living conditions in Venezuela that induce its citizens to leave their country by force and the imperative of a necessary change in governmental management in which policies aimed at attracting migrants back to their country and the recovery of human talent are proposed and implemented.
