Importancia del libro electrónico como herramienta didáctica para la enseñanza de la geografía en la educación secundaria

Abstract

RESUMEN La siguiente investigación, tiene como objetivo, valorar la importancia del libro electrónico como herramienta didáctica para la enseñanza de la Geografía, a los estudiantes del 1er Año de Educación Secundaria de la U.E Monseñor Rafael Arias Blanco, municipio Panamericano del estado Táchira. La presente indagación, se encuentra enmarcada en un paradigma cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo con modalidad de proyecto factible, sustentado en una investigación documental y de campo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 35 escolares pertenecientes a una sección del año señalado, utilizando como técnica la encuesta. A través de los resultados obtenidos se concluye, que los estudiantes tienen conocimientos sobre la tecnología audiovisual y su importancia para la enseñanza de la Geografía, así como también, manifestaron interés y expectativas de difundir este recurso estratégico con sus compañeros como herramienta didáctica para su proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Es importante señalar que esta herramienta se obtiene rápidamente, en cualquier momento y desde diversas partes del mundo; haciendo anotaciones, incluyendo notas, subrayar partes del texto, buscar significados de palabras, mostrando comentarios y facilitando la lectura. Es por esto, que en la propuesta se incluyó, plantear los pasos que le indiquen a los estudiantes cómo elaborar un Libro Electrónico relacionado con la enseñanza de la Geografía.

SUMMARY The following research aims, assess the importance of the electronic book as a teaching tool for teaching geography to students in 1st year of secondary education in the EU Monsignor Rafael Arias Blanco, Pan municipality of Tachira. This inquiry is framed in a paradigm quantitative, descriptive method of feasible project, based on documentary research and field. The sample consisted of 35 students of a section of the year specified, using the survey technique. Through the results it was concluded that students have knowledge of video technology and its importance to the teaching of geography and also expressed interest and expectations to deliver this strategic resource with their peers as a teaching tool for processing teaching and learning. Importantly, this tool is obtained rapidly, at any time and from various parts of the world, making notes, including notes, highlight parts of text, find meanings of words, showing comments and easier to read. This is why it was included in the proposal, raising the steps that tell students how to write an ebook related to the teaching of geography. Keywords:
