La planificación estratégica como herramienta pedagógica en la enseñanza de la geografía

Abstract

En el mundo contemporáneo la planificación se ha convertido en una labor esencial para gestionar el cambio educativo. Su importancia radica en que permite visualizar la acción estructurada para mejorar la situación problema identificada como objeto de atención investigativa. Esto fue motivación para considerar su aplicación en la enseñanza de la geografía El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la planificación estratégica como herramienta pedagógica en la enseñanza de la geografía. El diseño de la investigación fue de campo y su nivel o tipo descriptivo – explicativo; participaron doce (12) docentes especialistas en el área de geografía y ciencias de la tierra, quienes constituyen las unidades de estudio. Los instrumentos empleados fueron el cuestionario y la guía de entrevista. En el desarrollo del presente trabajo se determinó que la planificación estratégica como herramienta pedagógica en la enseñanza de la geografía, está desligada de la ausencia de planificación estratégica en los docentes analizados. Se concluye que hay en los docentes involucrados en el estudio una clara debilidad en el manejo de la planificación estratégica, pues se aferran a la aplicación de la planificación escolar tradicional. Eso determinó proponer la planificación estratégica como una opción que puede contribuir a mejorar la enseñanza de la geografía en la práctica escolar cotidiana.

The contemporary world the planning has become an essential work to manage the educative change. Its importance is in which it allows to visualize the structured action to improve the situation problem identified like object of research attention. This was motivation to consider its application in the education of geography the objective of the study was to analyze the strategic planning like pedagogical tool in the education of geography. The design of the investigation was of field and its level or descriptive type - explanatory; to twelve (12) educational specialists in the geography area and Earth sciences participated, who constitute the study units. The used instruments were the questionnaire and the guide of interview. In the development of the present work one determined that the strategic planning like pedagogical tool in the education of geography is loose of the analyzed absence of strategic planning in the educational ones. One concludes that there is in the educational ones involved in the study a clear weakness in the handling of the strategic planning, because they cling to the application of the traditional scholastic planning. That determined to propose the strategic planning like an option that can contribute to improve the education of daily geography actually student.
