Factores de riesgo involucrados en la incidencia por dengue Parroquia JJ Osuna Rodríguez : Mérida. Años 2013-2014

Abstract

Entre enero 2013 y diciembre de 2014 se estableció un estudio prospectivo con la finalidad de analizar los factores de riesgo involucrados en la incidencia de dengue en la Parroquia JJ Osuna Rodríguez (PJJOR), Mérida, participando una cohorte de 27.642 habitantes para dicho periodo; Se realizó un estudio epidemiológico observacional analítico longitudinal prospectivo o de incidencia de los habitantes que presentan dengue en la PJJOR. Se revisaron las fichas Epidemiológicas de dengue de todos los habitantes con serología positiva registrados durante el 2013-2014. La población estuvo constituida con un total de 287 casos. Para el año 2013-2014 la tasa de incidencia de dengue de la PJJOR se ubicó en 1,04%, para el resto de las parroquias del Municipio Libertador del Estado Mérida dicha incidencia fue de 0,21%, con P(0,000) se tiene que dichas tasas es mayor en la PJJOR que en el resto de las parroquias del municipio Libertador del estado Mérida; dado que la PJJOR es un área urbana se comparó entre estos sectores por sus condiciones ambientales, para los habitantes de la PJJOR cercanos a la Quebrada Los Barros estos presentan 5,50 veces más riesgo de tener dengue que los habitantes que viven en las cercanías de la Quebrada Carvajal. Las variables analizadas nos indica que de por si la Parroquia JJ Osuna Rodríguez por sus características en si representa un riesgo en comparación con el resto de las parroquias del Municipio Libertador en el Estado Mérida, a su vez los factores determinantes en la incidencia de la enfermedad, revelan que la totalidad de la población está expuesta al riesgo de enfermar por dengue si no se toman medidas que contribuyan al control efectivo de la enfermedad.
