Gestión local de riesgo sociocultural aplicado a la Microcuenca de la Quebrada Carvajal, municipio Libertador del estado Mérida

Abstract

La microcuenca de la quebrada Carvajal se ubica en el flanco sur de la Sierra La Culata, limita por el norte con la divisoria del Cerro La Laguneta, por el sur con la margen derecha del río Albarregas, por el este con la línea divisoria del río La Pedregosa y por el oeste con la línea divisoria del río Montalbán. Desde el punto de vista político-administrativo, se localiza en la Parroquia Osuna Rodríguez del municipio Libertador del Estado Mérida y cubre una superficie de 9,42 Km2.

The micro-basin of the Carvajal ravine is located on the southern flank of the Sierra La Culata, limited to the north by the Cerro La Laguneta divide, to the south by the right bank of the Albarregas River, to the east by the dividing line of the river La Pedregosa and to the west with the dividing line of the Montalbán River.
