Empresas que cotizan en Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Un acercamiento a su Comportamiento Estratégico

Abstract

El paradigma Estructura-Conducta-Resultado abre la posibilidad de entender el comportamiento de las empresas a partir de la influencia que la industria ejerce al definir el tipo de estrategia que implementan, para competir en un mercado determinado. Se tiene por objetivo identificar el tipo de estrategia que emplean las empresas que cotizan en Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Para lo cual se realiza un análisis de varianza (ANOVA) para comprobar que no existen diferencias entre tipo estrategia y el rendimiento. Se tiene como hallazgo que un 50% de las empresas utilizan una estrategia analizadora.

The Structure-Behavior-Result paradigm opens the possibility of understanding the behavior of companies based on the influence that the industry exerts in defining the type of strategy they implement, to compete in a given market. The objective is to identify the type of strategy used by companies listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. For which an analysis of variance (ANOVA) is performed to verify that there are no differences between strategy type and performance. It is found that 50% of companies use an analytical strategy.
