Hacia una conciencia ambiental en los docentes de educación média

Abstract

RESUMEN La conciencia ambiental es definida como un concepto multidimensional que constituye la dimensión actitudinal del comportamiento proambiental. En un contexto donde la crisis ambiental se hace cada vez evidente debido a la irracionalidad ecológica del ser humano, por tal motivo la investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la conciencia ambiental de los docentes de la U.E. Colegio Monseñor “Vicente Valera Márquez” en la ciudad y municipio Trujillo; La misma se desarrolló sobre un soporte teórico de la variable conciencia ambiental descritas por las diferentes dimensiones que definen este concepto: conativa, afectiva, cognitiva y activa, sustentada por diferentes autores. Metodológicamente, el estudio se caracterizó por ser de tipo descriptivo con un diseño de campo. Durante el periodo escolar 2017–2018. La población objeto de estudio estuvo conformada por 20 docentes. Para recabar la información se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario de veinte ítems, el cual se revisó y se sometió a juicio de expertos. Debido a que los estudios sociológicos sobre actitudes y comportamientos proambientales basados en encuestas suelen articularse de manera más o menos explicitas en torno al concepto de conciencia ambiental. Por otro lado el cálculo de confiabilidad se efectuó aplicando el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach alcanzando un índice rtt=0,99 para la variable en estudio. El análisis de resultados se realizó con técnicas estadísticas en tablas de frecuencia simples y gráficos precedido de un análisis cualitativo, teniendo como resultados que los docentes poseen una tendencia muy alta en cuanto el nivel de conciencia ambiental, sin embargo, la preocupación debería traducirse en acción para encontrar soluciones pero no siempre ocurre así, por lo tanto se plantearon una serie de estrategias para el fortalecimiento de la misma.

ABSTRACT The environmental awareness is defined as a multidimensional concept which constitutes the attitudinal dimension of the pro-enviromental behavior.
