Comunicación familiar y autoestima en estudiantes de secundaria de la ciudad de Puno, Perú

Abstract

En la investigación se analiza la relación entre la comunicación familiar y la autoestima en estudiantes de secundaria de la ciudad de Puno en Perú. La muestra fue 274 estudiantes de secundaria de 11 colegios, a los que se le aplicó dos cuestionarios de 20 items. Se analizó mediante estadística descriptiva y correlación de Pearson. Se obtuvo que la comunicación familiar se correlaciona con la autoestima de manera positiva muy fuerte (R = 0.98) y significativa (p-valor < 0.05).

The research analyzes the relationship between family communication and self-esteem in high school students in the city of Puno in Peru. The sample was 274 high school students from 11 schools, to which two questionnaires of 20 items were applied. It was analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. It was obtained that family communication correlates with self-esteem in a very strong positive way (R = 0.98) and significant (p-value <0.05)
