Educación y Arte Queer: Una política diversa en la pedagogía de la modernidad

Abstract

Las perspectivas de género son mucho más que una simple percepción educativa. Si bien la tolerancia y el respeto juegan un rol importante en la prevención de la violencia y cualquier forma de discriminación del género dentro del ámbito educativo, no quiere decir que los factores culturales sean las únicas cuestiones predominantes en esta materia de estudio, pues, el espectro pedagógico tiene mucha incidencia en la formación integral del ser humano. Lo queer, lo extraño, lo raro, últimamente se ha vuelto la excusa predilecta para rechazar todo aquello que se opone al género como una construcción, pero ¿cómo fomentar un ambiente de respeto en instituciones donde la identidad de género aún se observa como un tabú?

Gender perspectives are much more than a simple educational perception.
