La ética cristiano-humanista contenida en el De voluptate de Lorenzo Valla

Abstract

Lorenzo Valla es un autor poco conocido y estudiado en el marco de la filosofía latinoamericana. Salvo algunas excepciones y menciones esporádicas, su pensamiento no es valorado en nuestras latitudes. Sin embargo, posee gran importancia, en cuanto representa una posición filosófica que puede ser tildada de humanismo cristiano, a saber, la consideración de que el hombre es nuclear, ciertamente, sin abandonar la tesis metafísica distintiva que sostiene la primacía de Dios y los bienes espirituales.

Lorenzo Valla is a little-known and little-studied author within the frame work of Latin American philosophy. With some exceptions and sporadic mentions, his thought is not valued in our latitudes. However, it has great importance, as it represents a philosophical position that can be called Christian humanism, that is, the consideration that man is nuclear, certainly, without abandoning the distinctive metaphysical thesis that maintains the primacy of God and spiritual goods.
