Producción científica sobre la migración venezolana: un estudio bibliométrico

Abstract

El objetivo fue caracterizar la producción científica sobre la migración venezolana, en términos de las tendencias temáticas y metodológicas, en los últimos cinco años. Esta investigación fue descriptiva, con diseño documental, aplicando análisis bibliométrico a 209 documentos obtenidos de la base de datos Dimensions, para describir sus métricas bibliométricas e identificar los temas relacionados con la migración y los métodos aplicados para el desarrollo de estas publicaciones. Se encontró que el año con mayor producción fue 2021, destacando Colombia como el país más prolífico del periodo, los contenidos recurrentes fueron sobre salud y predominaron los métodos cualitativos.

The objective was to characterize the scientific production on Venezuelan migration, in terms of thematic and methodological trends, in the last five years. This research was descriptive, with documentary design, applying bibliometric analysis to 209 documents obtained from the Dimensions database, to describe their bibliometric metrics and identify the topics related to migration and the methods applied for the development of these publications. It was found that the year with the highest production was 2021, with Colombia standing out as the most prolific country in the period, the recurrent contents were on health and qualitative methods predominated.
