Estabilidad dimensional y reproducción de detalles anatómicos en impresiones con alginato

Abstract

Objetivo: identificar la estabilidad dimensional y reproducción de detalles anatómicos en impresiones con alginato. Método: Descriptiva observacional, la población estuvo conformada por 10 estudiantes de odontología de UNIANDES –Ecuador. Conclusión: La estabilidad dimensional de las impresiones con alginatos realizados en los pacientes con distintos tiempos de vaciado ha sido notoriamente variable, y más si especificamos los dientes de canino y segundo molar que es donde se apreciará mejor dicha estabilidad. Podremos observar que gracias a la manipulación de distintos tamaños de bocas en los pacientes se tenía una posible hipótesis de variable de tamaño en tiempo

Objective: To identify the dimensional stability and reproduction of anatomical details in alginate impressions. Method: Descriptive observational study, the population consisted of 10 dental students of UNIANDES -Ecuador. Conclusion: The dimensional stability of the alginate impressions made in patients with different casting times has been notoriously variable, and even more so if we specify the canine and second molar teeth, which is where this stability will be better appreciated. We will be able to observe that thanks to the manipulation of different sizes of mouths in the patients we had a possible hypothesis of variable size in time
