La autoestima en los adolescentes de centros educativos: revisión teórica

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, se realizó un análisis bibliográfico y teórico que corresponde a la autoestima en el desarrollo del adolescente, en el cual, se planteó el objetivo general, que es: organizar y describir las principales teorías sobre el tema propuesto, como también explicar los actuales hallazgos. Teniendo en cuenta que en la actualidad la autoestima del adolescente se ha visto afectada por: bullying escolar, exclusión social, falta de los padres, entre otros, generando una baja autoestima y un bajo desarrollo del adolescente; debido a esto, la presente investigación puede ser revisada por la sociedad en general, como los adolescentes y docentes con el fin de aumentar la autoestima y el desarrollo del adolescente. Se realizó una revisión teórica de diferentes fuentes de datos: Scielo, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, Scopus; así como también, se revisaron diferentes fuentes primarias y secundarias. Los hallazgos, en base a la teoría, indicaron que es de suma importancia conocer e identificar los puntos de quiebre de la formación de la autoestima, así mismo los componentes y las dimensiones, para que de esta manera el adolescente no presente problemas futuros.

In the present work, a bibliographic and theoretical analysis was developed that corresponds to self-esteem in the development of adolescents, in which the general objective was raised, which is: to organize and describe the main theories on the proposed topic, as well as explain the current findings. Taking into account that currently the self-esteem of the adolescent has been affected by: school bullying, social exclusion, lack of parents, among others, generating low self-esteem and poor development of the adolescent; Due to this, this research can be reviewed by society in general, such as adolescents, parents and teachers in order to increase the self-esteem and development of the adolescent. A theoretical review of different data sources was carried out: Scielo, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, Scopus; As well as, different primary and secondary sources were reviewed. The findings, based on the theory, indicated that it is of utmost importance to know and identify the breaking points of the formation of self-esteem, as well as the components and dimensions, so that the adolescent does not present future problems.
