dc.description.abstractLa salud bucal influye en la calidad de vida infantil, impactando aspectos físicos, emocionales y sociales. Este estudio analiza la percepción de la salud bucal en 160 escolares de quinto y sexto grado en Perú, utilizando el cuestionario Childhood Perceptions Questionnaire (CPQ 11-14). Los resultados evidencian que los problemas bucales afectan la funcionalidad, el bienestar emocional y la interacción social. Se concluye que fortalecer la prevención y el acceso a atención odontológica es clave para mejorar la calidad de vida.en_US
dc.description.abstractOral health influences the quality of life in children, impacting physical, emotional, and social aspects. This study analyzes the perception of oral health in 160 fifth and sixth-grade students in Peru, using the Childhood Perceptions Questionnaire (CPQ 11-14). The results show that oral problems affect functionality, emotional well-being, and social interaction. It is concluded that strengthening prevention and access to dental care is key to improving quality of life.en_US
