La logística oportuna y las operaciones de paz de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU)

Abstract

La logística militar en todos los niveles permite mantener la capacidad opera-tiva del personal, material y equipo, por lo que un sistema logístico sólido, considerando que existen algunos aspectos que hacen que las operaciones sean cada vez más complejas, por la propia naturaleza de las misiones de paz de las Naciones Unidas, permitiría cumplir con el soporte a las operaciones de manera efectiva. El presente estudio de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia soporte logístico en las operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz bajo mandato de la ONU. Ya que las fuerzas armadas del Perú en su rol estratégico de apoyo a la política exterior, participan en las operaciones de paz de la ONU, y existen desafíos que se le presentan a las fuerzas o contin-gentes que se encuentran desplegados en misión y por otro lado el interés en investigar, para poder determinar la importancia de la logística y como ésta afecta al curso de las operaciones en cuanto a planificación y gestión, con ello lograr una mejor toma de decisiones en cuanto aspectos logísticos se refiere.

The military logistic at all levels allows maintaining the operational capacity of personnel, material and equipment, so a solid logistics system, considering that there are some aspects that make operations increasingly complex, due to the very nature of the peacekeeping missions of the United Nations, would allow us to support operations effectively. The objective of this research study is to analyze the importance of logistical support in peacekeeping operations under UN mandate. Since the armed forces of Peru, in their strategic role of supporting foreign policy, participate in UN peace operations, and there are challenges that are presented to the forces or contingents that are deployed on mission and on the other hand the interest in researching, in order to determine the importance of logistics and how it affects the course of operations in terms of planning and management, thereby achieving better decision making in terms of logistical aspects.
