Bicentenario del Discurso de Angostura de Simón Bolívar. Un análisis histórico, jurídico y político. Lección magistral

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se hace un análisis tanto del llamado, en la historiografía patria, Discurso de Angostura, como de la organización de los Poderes Públicos establecida en el proyecto de Constitución presentado por el Libertador Simón Bolívar a consideración del “Segundo Congreso Nacional de Venezuela”, reunido en Angostura (1819), poniendo especial énfasis en el estudio del Senado hereditario y el Poder Moral propuestos por Bolívar en dicho proyecto constitucional.

In this work, an analysis is made of both the so-called “” Discurso de Angostura in the national historiography, as well as the organization of the Public Powers established in the draft Constitution presented by the Liberator Simón Bolívar for consideration by the “Second National Congress of Venezuela”, meeting in Angostura (1819), placing special emphasis on the study of the hereditary Senate and the Moral Power proposed by Bolívar in said constitutional project.
