Factores habilitantes de la Economía Circular y la Industria 5.0 en el sector forestal de Colombia

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los factores habilitantes de la Economía Circular e Industria 5.0 en el sector forestal en Colombia. Con este propósito, se llevó a cabo un estudio bajo el enfoque epistémico positivista, dentro del paradigma cuantitativo y con un diseño descriptivo. Las fuentes de información incluyeron el Boletín Estadístico Forestal 2022 del Ministerio de Agricultura (Minagricultura), el Sexto Reporte sobre la Economía Circular en Colombia 2022 del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) y los Informes Departamentales de Competitividad 2022 y 2023 del Consejo Privado de Competitividad. El análisis de los resultados se basó en la evolución temporal de varios indicadores de economía circular, junto con indicadores específicos de competitividad en la Industria 5.0. Los hallazgos evidencian avances significativos en la reducción del consumo de productos forestales en el marco de la economía circular, mientras que en la Industria 5.0 persisten desafíos de competitividad en los departamentos con mayor número de plantaciones forestales destinadas al uso comercial

The objective of this research was to analyze the enabling factors of the Circular Economy and Industry 5.0 in the forestry sector in Colombia. For this purpose, a study was carried out under the positivist epistemic approach, within the quantitative paradigm and with a descriptive design. The sources of information included the Forest Statistical Bulletin 2022 of the Ministry of Agriculture (Minagricultura), the Sixth Report on the Circular Economy in Colombia 2022 of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and the Departmental Competitiveness Reports 2022 and 2023 of the Private Competitiveness Council. The analysis of the results was based on the temporal evolution of several circular economy indicators, together with specific indicators of competitiveness in Industry 5.0. The findings show significant progress in reducing the consumption of forest products within the framework of the circular economy, while in Industry 5.0 competitiveness challenges persist in the departments with the largest number of forest plantations intended for commercial use
