Innovación en la industria plástica zuliana. Perspectivas sostenibles para el 2030

Abstract

Para la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo principal la revisión del contexto de la industria plástica a nivel mundial, extrapolando realidades a la industria plástica en Venezuela en cuánto a la innovación y el futuro del mercado mundial. Para tal fin, se revisaron las publicaciones de los principales medios referentes del plástico en el mundo, en Latinoamérica y en la región, así como también artículos y libros en referencia a la innovación dentro del contexto de la industria plástica y las organizaciones en general. Metodológicamente se cataloga como una investigación documental. Se concluyó en la relevancia de la innovación para afrontar los retos en la industria plástica en Venezuela, donde las empresas enfrentan una baja productividad debido a la poca utilización de la capacidad instalada, fuga de talentos, difícil o nulo acceso al financiamiento para actualizar el parque tecnológico en pro de mejorar la eficiencia de los procesos y mantenerse competitivos, entre otros retos que hacen que la industria no vaya al ritmo del mercado mundial

For this research, the main objective was to review the context of the plastics industry worldwide, extrapolating realities to the plastics industry in Venezuela in terms of innovation and the future of the world market. For this purpose, the publications of the main plastic media in the world, in Latin America and in the region were reviewed, as well as articles and books in reference to innovation within the context of the plastics industry and organizations in general. Methodologically it is classified as a documentary investigation. It was concluded in the relevance of innovation to face the challenges in the plastics industry in Venezuela, where companies face low productivity due to the low use of installed capacity, flight of talents, difficult or no access to financing to update the park. Technological in order to improve the efficiency of processes and remain competitive, among other challenges that make the industry not keep pace with the world market.
