Política y deporte. La configuración de lo lúdico deportivo como aparato del Estado y política pública

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como propósito analizar desde el discurso sociológico la relación existente entre política y deporte como epifenómenos. El mismo desglosa taxativamente y desde un enfoque deductivo la relación existente entre ambos fenómenos, su materialización con el advenimiento del deporte como una institución o aparato político del Estado, sus funciones en el ámbito nacional e internacional y la utilidad manifiesta que ha adquirido el deporte como política pública generadora de bienes y servicios demandantes por la sociedad en general. El móvil principal del escrito radica en argumentar que la intervención del Estado y de las organizaciones empresariales no sólo ha hecho viable el crecimiento, expansión y popularización de la práctica deportiva hasta llegar a ser lo que es hoy, sino que también, la ha condicionado en sus modos de practicarla y en sus formas de entenderla y encuadrarla a sus propios fines. Se utilizaron fuentes documentales de primer y segundo orden para las respectivas argumentaciones epistémicas.

The present article aims to analyze from the sociological discourse the relationship between politics and sport as epiphenomena. The same breaks down categorically and from a deductive approach the relationship between both phenomena, their materialization with the advent of sport as an institution or political apparatus of the State, their functions at the national and international level, and the manifest utility that sport has acquired as a public policy that generates goods and services demanded by society in general. The main motive of the writing lies in arguing that the State Intervention and business organizations has not only made the growth, expansion and popularization of sports practice viable until it became what it is today, but has also conditioned it in its ways of practicing it and its ways of understanding it and framing it to its own purposes. First and second order documentary sources were used for the respective epistemic discussions.
