Etnografía de relaciones de poder en la Casa de Oración Pentecostal del Perú de Ayacucho

Abstract

a presente investigación, es una entrada somera sobre las relaciones de poder en la Casa de Oración Pentecostés del Perú de Mollepata-Ayacucho. Tuvo por objetivo mostrar y desentrañar las relaciones de poder en la casa de oración Pentecostés del Perú de Mollepata-Ayacucho, y las formas de capital: cultural, social, simbólico y económico. La propuesta metodológica es de corte cualitativa, de enfoque etnográfico, que nos permitió describir, comprender y analizar los testimonios de los miembros de la casa de oración; los instrumentos de investigación fueron la observación participante y las entrevistas semiestructuradas a los miembros de la congregación. Como resultado principal, se evidenció que las relaciones de poder y las jerarquías existentes en la Casa de Oración Pentecostés del Perú en Mollepata-Ayacucho revelan cómo el poder se hace evidente a través de una estructura de mando, las reglas internas que guían el funcionamiento de la iglesia y la gestión de los recursos simbólicos y culturales por parte de la pastora, así como su estrategia para legitimar su posición como líder de la comunidad religiosa. Se concluye que existen relaciones de poder legitimadas por las normas que rigen la congregación, los cuales están sustentada en la interpretación de la biblia, que para la congregación tienen un carácter normativo, de modo que es considera como las “sagradas escrituras”

The present investigation is a brief entry on the power relations in the Pentecost House of Prayer of Peru in Mollepata-Ayacucho. Its objective was to show and unravel the power relations in the Peruvian Pentecostal prayer house of Mollepata-Ayacucho, and the forms of capital: cultural, social, symbolic and economic. The methodological proposal is qualitative, with an ethnographic approach, which allowed us to describe, understand and analyze the testimonies of the members of the house of prayer; The research instruments were participant observation and semi-structured interviews with members of the congregation. As a main result, it was evident that the power relations and hierarchies existing in the Pentecost House of Prayer of Peru in Mollepata-Ayacucho reveal how power becomes evident through a command structure, the internal rules that guide the operation of the church and the management of symbolic and cultural resources by the pastor, as well as her strategy to legitimize her position as leader of the religious community. It is concluded that there are power relations legitimized by the norms that govern the congregation, which are supported by the interpretation of the Bible, which for the congregation has a normative nature, so that it is considered the "holy scriptures”
