Acoso escolar y resiliencia en adolescentes en una Unidad Educativa

Abstract

El acoso escolar o bullying, afecta alrededor de un tercio de la población adolescente en todo el mundo, siendo un problema que afecta significativamente la salud y el bienestar de los jóvenes. En este contexto, la resiliencia es un factor de protección a ser investigado que posibilita afrontar estas experiencias adversas. El objetivo del estudio fue explorar la correlación predictiva entre la resiliencia y el acoso escolar en una muestra de 367 adolescentes que cursaban el bachillerato en la Unidad Educativa Fiscal “Luis Tello”. El diseño fue no experimental, de alcance transversal, con enfoque cuantitativo, y de tipo descriptivo/correlacional. La edad promedio del grupo fue 15.74 años, el 85.8% fueron hombres y el 14.2% mujeres. El 49.3% se autoidentificó mestizo y el 46% afrodescendientes. Todos completaron escalas psicométricas sobre resiliencia y acoso escolar. Se observó que una mayor resolución de problemas se asocia significativamente con la reducción de ser víctima de acoso escolar. También, que la agresión psicológica es la forma de acoso más frecuente. Además, se confirma la importancia de implementar programas escolares que fortalezcan la resiliencia y aborden las diversas formas de acoso, especialmente aquellas que tienden a ser normalizadas. En conclusión, la intervención integral es esencial para mejorar el bienestar de los adolescentes en entornos vulnerables

Bullying affects about one third of the adolescent population worldwide, and is a problem that significantly affects the health and well-being of young people.In this context, resilience is a protective factor to be investigated that makes it possible to cope with these adverse experiences. The aim of the study was to explore the predictive correlation between resilience and bullying in a sample of 367 adolescents attending high school at the "Luis Tello" Fiscal Educational Unit.
