Afectividad y convivencialidad: reflexiones a partir del pensamiento ético contemporáneo

Abstract

La afectividad y la convivencialidad son elementos esenciales para la evolución del ser humano, tanto en sus aspectos intrínsecos como sociales; contribuye a la configuración de relaciones estables, que conducen a la felicidad, entendida en términos aristotélicos de completitud, de asociación política, que se perfila hacia la búsqueda del bien colectivo. Estos factores se ven manifestados en diferentes etapas de la vida, que van desde su nacimiento hasta la muerte, dimensionando el carácter ético de la sociedad, incidiendo en relaciones significativas, que ayudan a definir la personalidad y los vínculos con la alteridad. En el plano psicológico, ayuda a promover la salud mental y a regular de manera crítica las emociones. Dentro del pensamiento ético contemporáneo, se recalca en el valor de estas categorías para la conformación histórico-cultural de la humanidad, para promover el cuidado de sí, el respeto a la alteridad, ejerciendo influencia dentro de los espacios de actuación privados y públicos, fortaleciendo las relaciones intersubjetivas. En virtud de lo anterior, el presente artículo, desarrollado bajo un método hermenéutico-documental, analiza la interrelación existente entre afectividad y convivencialidad, tomando como ruta de abordaje el pensamiento ético contemporáneo, apuntando hacia lo tangible del cuidado de sí y del otro, evidenciable en el mejoramiento de las relaciones e interacciones entre los individuos.

Affectivity and conviviality are essential elements for the evolution of human beings, both in their intrinsic and social aspects; they contribute to the configuration of stable relationships, leading to happiness, understood in Aristotelian terms of completeness, of political association, which is outlined towards the search for the collective good. These factors are manifested in different stages of life, ranging from birth to death, dimensioning the ethical character of society, influencing meaningful relationships, which help define the personality and links with otherness. On the psychological level, it helps to promote mental health and to regulate emotions in a critical way. Within contemporary ethical thought, the value of these categories is emphasized for the historical-cultural conformation of humanity, to promote self-care, respect for otherness, exerting influence within the spaces of private and public action, strengthening intersubjective relationships. By virtue of the above, this paper, developed under a hermeneutic-documentary method, analyzes the existing interrelation between affectivity and conviviality, taking contemporary ethical thought as an approach route, pointing towards the tangible care of oneself and the other, evidenced in the improvement of relationships and interactions between individuals.
