El Nuevo Humano. Prospectivas científicas para el Trabajo Social. Dibujando nuevas realidades complejas en México

Abstract

Un mundo complejo, y cada vez más tecnologizado avecina, crecientes retos y desafíos, particularmente cuando se habla del Nuevo Humano, constructo asociado a la idea del mejoramiento del individuo, que promueve el Transhumanismo, en el cual, se destacan los avances de la tecnología para mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los habitantes del planeta, con el advenimiento de la revolución digital y todos aquellos dispositivos inteligentes. En tal sentido, el objetivo del presente artículo es situar la reflexión en dicho Nuevo humano, e identificar sus posibles necesidades, problemáticas sociales y desafíos en México en los próximos años 2025, 2030, 2040 y 2050. Para ello, se desarrolló un análisis estadístico-prospectivo sobre las principales variables sociodemográficas. Utilizando bases de datos, e información de los observatorios demográficos y metadatos, generados por el CEPALSTAT (2024), The United Nation (2024), la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL, 2024) y la Encuesta Nacional sobre Disponibilidad y Uso de Tecnologías de la Información en los Hogares (ENDUTIH, 2022). Concluyendo que el Nuevo Humano en los próximos años, será un ser envejecido, en hacinamiento, y con desigualdades tecnológicas, el cual, requerirá de disponer de servicios sociales y de salud destinados a promover un envejecimiento sano, a prevenir y retardar los padecimientos propios de la edad cronológica, así como de políticas públicas que contrarresten los efectos de la escasez de recursos y las brechas de desigualdades sociales y económicas.

A complex and increasingly technologized world is coming, growing challenges and challenges, particularly when talking about the New Human, a construct associated with the idea of the improvement of the individual, which promotes Transhumanism, in which the advances of technology to improve the quality of life of all the inhabitants of the planet are highlighted, with the advent of the digital revolution and all those smart devices. In this sense, the objective of this article is to situate the reflection on this New Human, and to identify its possible needs, social problems and challenges in Mexico in the coming years 2025, 2030, 2040 and 2050. To this end, a statistical-prospective analysis was developed on the main sociodemographic variables. Using databases, and information from demographic observatories and metadata, generated by CEPALSTAT (2024), The United Nation (2024), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC, 2024) and the National Survey on the Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Households (ENDUTIH, 2022). Concluding that the New Human in the coming years will be an aging being, in overcrowding, and with technological inequalities, which will require having social and health services aimed at promoting healthy aging, preventing and delaying the diseases of chronological age, as well as public policies that counteract the effects of the scarcity of resources and the gaps of social and economic inequalities.
